Green Bond
In February 2021,
HD Hyundai Heavy Industries became the first in
the shipbuilding industry to be rated GREEN1,
the highest green bond rating,
by NICE Investors Service.
We issued approximately KRW 300 billion in
domestic green bonds
in March 2021,
became ESG certified by DNV in 2022,
and successfully issued approximately USD 300
million in green bonds
guaranteed by Korea
Development Bank in March 2022.
